SINOPSIS
Un grupo de amigos recuerdan cómo se conocieron, en el año 2012, dentro del movimiento estudiantil #YoSoy132 con el fin de construir un proyecto de oposición ante el regreso del Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) a la presidencia de México.
Sus voces nos narran su despertar político, sus reflexiones personales y encuentros amorosos. Los aprendizajes colectivos serán una semilla para el siguiente movimiento por los 43 estudiantes desaparecidos de Ayotzinapa.

SYNOPSIS
A group of friends recall how they met in 2012, within the student movement #YoSoy132 to build an opposition project to the return of the political party PRI to the presidency of Mexico.
Their voices narrate their political awakening, their reflections, and their love encounters. The collective learnings will be a seed for the next movement for the 43 disappeared students of Ayotzinapa.

El documental "Historia de un movimiento" está realizado solo con material de archivo, el cual es único ya que fue hecho por un grupo de cineastas que compartíamos una misma perspectiva: documentar desde el interior del movimiento.
Esta película tiene la convicción de discutir estos movimientos sociales y abrir debate. La democratización de medios de comunicación que planteaba el #YoSoy132 y la consigna de las madres y padres de Ayotzinapa: “Porque vivos se los llevaron, vivos los queremos”, siguen siendo cuentas pendientes que gobierno, iniciativa privada y sociedad tenemos.

The documentary "Story of a Movement" is made only with archival material, which is unique because it was made by a group of filmmakers who shared the same perspective: to document from inside the movement.
This film has the conviction to discuss these social movements and open debate. The democratization of the media proposed by #YoSoy132 and the slogan of the mothers and fathers of Ayotzinapa: "Because they were taken alive, we want them alive", are still pending accounts that government, private initiative, and society have.
